Accounts Payable Specialist

This position owns the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring vendor invoices are processed and paid accurately and on time. It maintains reliable financial records, supports reconciliations and reporting, and helps uphold company accounting procedures and internal controls.

What you'll do

• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices
• match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
• verify approvals
• process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• maintain vendor records and accounts payable files
• assist with month-end close, subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation, aging reports, audits, and other financial reporting
• support internal controls and process improvements
• protect confidential financial information.
