Network Operations Lead — Secret Clearance

Job overview

The Network Operations Lead works onsite in Arlington, VA, on a day-shift schedule Monday through Friday, with possible evening and weekend work for program or contract needs; travel is less than 15%. The target annual salary range is $150,000–$205,000. This role supports TekSynap’s Defense team and a government contract proposal, contingent on contract award and government approval. The lead oversees network operations for complex federal environments, coordinating monitoring, outage response, circuit issues, and network-device support. The role also drives service-health reporting, exercises, and root-cause analysis to support reliable enterprise network services across classified and unclassified boundaries.

What you'll do

• Lead Network Operations Center operations
• manage network monitoring and outage response
• coordinate DISA and commercial circuit issues
• support VPN, routing, switching, wireless, and network-device operations
• ensure response to enterprise outages
• coordinate tabletop exercises
• provide recurring service-health reporting
• support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• lead after-hours response and coordinate across classified and unclassified support boundaries.
