Job overview

The Enhanced Mental Health Services Support Specialist role is onsite in Apple Valley, CA, on a residential team. Compensation is $19.50 per hour, with quarterly and annual performance bonuses available. Trinity Youth Services provides residential therapeutic programs and mental health services for children and youth. The specialist supports youth through individualized behavioral interventions, crisis response, self-help skill building, and treatment-plan activities under professional supervision. The role contributes to youth safety, development, and progress toward treatment goals while coordinating with therapists, caregivers, and the treatment team.

What you'll do

  • Assist with individualized, strength-based interventions
  • support skill development and behavior remediation
  • implement positive behavioral plans and model interventions for families or caregivers
  • assist licensed or waivered staff with assessments and treatment planning
  • provide one-to-one behavior intervention based on treatment plans
  • communicate with therapists and treatment teams
  • participate in child and family team meetings
  • maintain supervision and safety
  • document incidents, dorm logs, and reports
  • drive when necessary.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences and at least two years of related child or family welfare experience; one to two years of experience is also listed as preferred. Must be at least 21 and hold a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV history.
