What you'll do

• Analyze SBA loan applications under current SBA guidelines
• underwrite loans from $200,000 to $5,000,000
• review financial statements and third-party reports
• assess creditworthiness and collateral
• structure deals and make supported recommendations
• prepare detailed credit approval requests
• liaise with credit administration, sales teams, and borrowers
• identify and mitigate credit weaknesses and policy exceptions
• assign credit risk ratings
• collaborate with Compliance on suspicious activity and fraud prevention
• complete required compliance and IT training.
