Safety & Security Officer

Job overview

The Safety & Security Officer is an onsite role based in Downers Grove, IL, with a pay range of $17.97–$24.74 per hour. This position supports the safety and security team at Oak Trace, a Lifespace community dedicated to providing exceptional senior living experiences. The role exists to maintain a secure environment for residents, guests, and staff through scheduled rounds, emergency response, and safety system monitoring. The officer contributes to the community's mission by ensuring all safety protocols are followed, maintaining detailed security logs, and assisting with light maintenance and resident transportation needs.

What you'll do

• Conduct scheduled rounds, manage fire and disaster drills, maintain security records, respond to emergencies, monitor life safety systems, manage access control, perform light maintenance, and assist residents with luggage and transportation.
