What you'll do

• Review estimate requests and advise leadership on feasibility
• build vendor and subcontractor bid lists and manage bid calendars
• perform quantity takeoffs
• solicit, qualify, and level bids
• prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed estimates
• set contingencies and document assumptions, exclusions, clarifications, and allowances
• visit sites to assess cost conditions
• lead value engineering with owners and architects
• submit RFIs and flag omissions
• support schedules, sequencing, and risk reviews
• track active project budgets and changes
• route change orders to project managers
• maintain subcontractor relationships.
