The role takes measurements, explains lens and frame options, and adjusts or repairs frames to support the patient experience.

What you'll do

• Build patient relationships and provide medical support
• determine patient needs and assist with frame selection
• operate auto and manual lensometers
• recommend lenses, coatings, and frames
• collect optical measurements
• dispense orders
• repair and adjust frames
• dispense glasses and contact lens orders.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. At least one year in a customer- or patient-facing role is required; prior medical office experience is preferred and ophthalmic experience strongly preferred. ABO and NCLE certifications are preferred but not required.
