Senior Environmental Professional — Business Development

Job overview

The Senior Environmental Professional role may be hybrid or fully remote within the local area; GES prefers an office location in Odenton, MD, Richmond, VA, or Blacksburg, VA. Compensation is $125,000–$150,000 per year. GES provides environmental consulting, engineering, compliance, and technical field services and supports environmental projects in its Mid-Atlantic Region. The role develops client relationships and business opportunities while helping sell, manage, and execute environmental services and projects. It connects client needs with GES technical and operational teams to support regional growth and project delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop new client relationships and support existing clients
• sell and secure contracts
• execute contracted work with GES staff
• support environmental service-line growth, sales, program management, and project execution
• manage contract development and administration
• lead proposals
• conduct sales presentations and networking
• travel to client meetings, conferences, and events.
