This position supports the North Star High School athletic program, which is part of a network dedicated to closing the college completion gap in economically disadvantaged communities. The role exists to foster a culture of academic and athletic excellence by managing all aspects of the athletic program. The Athletic Director oversees coaching staff, ensures compliance and safety, manages operational logistics, and supports student-athlete development to prepare students for collegiate opportunities.

• Develop and enforce mission statements for athletics
• manage coaching staff recruitment and development
• monitor student-athlete academic achievement
• oversee athletic budget and fundraising
• ensure safety and compliance with state regulations
• manage scheduling and transportation
• maintain digital and media presence.
