Associate or Counsel — Tax, Trusts and Estates

The Associate or Counsel role is onsite in Naples, FL. Compensation is $185,000–$195,000 per year. The position joins Porzio, Bromberg & Newman’s expanding Tax, Trusts & Estates / Wealth Preservation practice, which advises families and business owners on estate planning, tax strategy, and business succession. The lawyer develops and implements sophisticated estate, tax, and business-succession strategies for clients. The role combines trust planning, tax advice and filing review, business structuring, transaction support, and clear client guidance, with the opportunity to grow into a practice leadership role.

What you'll do

• Design and implement advanced trust and estate plans
• advise on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes
• develop asset-protection structures
• structure business entities
• draft and negotiate buy-sell agreements and succession plans
• support seller-side M&A
• advise on federal and state tax matters
• coordinate and review tax filings
• communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
