Accounts Receivable Specialist

Compensation is $28 per hour. The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. The specialist manages invoices, payment application, reconciliations, and collections while maintaining accurate financial records. The role also supports customer and internal inquiries, month-end activities, and process improvements that can improve accounting workflow accuracy and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Create and distribute customer invoices
• record and apply incoming payments
• investigate payment discrepancies and unapplied cash
• monitor receivables and contact customers about past-due balances
• maintain account records and documentation
• process adjustments, credits, and billing corrections
• reconcile customer balances and support general-ledger accuracy
• assist with month-end activities and reporting
• respond to billing inquiries and partner with internal departments
• support process optimization and automation.
