Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — Part-Time

The Registered Behavior Technician role is part-time and onsite in Newark, NJ, with pay of $30–$34 per hour. Serenity NJ provides behavioral supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Under clinical supervision, the RBT implements individualized Behavior Support Plans, records behavioral data, and supports positive behavior, independence, and community participation. The role also involves communicating progress and concerns and collaborating with families and support teams.

What you'll do

• Implement and monitor established Behavior Support Plans
• provide positive behavioral interventions under supervision
• collect and document behavioral data
• monitor strategies and coach caregivers or direct support professionals as appropriate
• communicate changes, concerns, and progress to the supervising clinician
• collaborate with families, direct support professionals, and support coordinators
• maintain required New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities documentation and compliance.
