HVAC Commissioning Service Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Commissioning Service Technician role is onsite in Boston, MA, and compensation is up to $42 per hour based on experience. The role supports Kelso Industries’ commercial HVAC projects, taking installations from mechanical completion to operational handoff.

What you'll do

• Lead start-up and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems
• verify installations against specifications and drawings
• perform functional checks and testing
• verify refrigerant charge, airflow, gas pressures, combustion, and electrical readings
• coordinate with installation, controls, TAB, general contractor, and commissioning teams
• resolve deficiencies and start-up issues
• guide customers through system operation
• document results
• and support service diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance between start-ups.
