What you'll do

• Conduct on-site audits at client or company locations
• review financial records, inventory systems, operational processes, and employee procedures
• collect and analyze financial, inventory, and operational data
• identify discrepancies and non-compliance and prepare reports with recommendations
• collaborate on corrective actions
• guide staff on compliance practices
• conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation
• maintain audit workpapers and records
• present reports to senior management and clients
• stay current on regulations and auditing standards
• support client relationships, deal qualification, due diligence, loan structuring, underwriting, loan-document review, and portfolio monitoring
• assist with training new team members.
