Working under a provider and clinical director, the assistant supports patient care and clinic operations through clinical, front-office, and back-office duties, helping patients move through urgent care visits and receive appropriate care.

What you'll do

• Gather patient demographic, insurance, and emergency information
• complete paperwork and explain facility policies
• maintain clinical records and enter data
• administer medications and injections, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and prepare patients for tests and procedures
• answer calls, schedule and register patients, verify information, update records, and support patient flow. The role includes at least three weekend day shifts of eight hours and weekday shifts of eight or 12 hours
• work at other urgent care locations and mobile van care may be required as described.

Why this role
