Floor Technician — Environmental Services

Job overview

The Floor Technician role is onsite in Sandy Spring, MD, with pay of $19.50–$21.50 per hour. The part-time schedule is evenings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday through Sunday. The role supports Brooke Grove Retirement Village’s resident care and services mission. The environmental services associate maintains clean and safe resident and patient areas, follows healthcare cleaning and infection-control practices, and supports laundry and common-area services as assigned. This work contributes to resident well-being, cleanliness measures, and a safe care environment.

What you'll do

• Clean occupied and discharged resident or patient areas, resident homes, assigned medical equipment, laundry and linen areas, and common spaces
• use chemicals and equipment safely
• follow safety, infection-control, privacy, and PPE practices
• maintain and restock cleaning carts
• remove waste using appropriate disposal streams
• participate in performance improvement initiatives.
