Registered Nurse (RN) - Gig/Per Diem is an onsite position in Saint Louis, MO. The pay rate is $40/hour plus variable shift incentive. This role supports Mercy South and surrounding communities. This position utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. The nurse evaluates the effectiveness of care and ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

What you'll do

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

Experience

One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent specialty specific bed-side RN experience.
