Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician role is onsite in Gaithersburg, MD. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The role supports commercial customers by servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems. The technician responds to service calls, identifies system deficiencies, completes repairs and maintenance, and documents work. Clear communication about system conditions and repair needs, along with reliable equipment and vehicle upkeep, supports safe and effective customer service; participation in an on-call rotation is required as needed.

What you'll do

• Respond to service calls for commercial fire sprinkler systems
• troubleshoot issues and identify deficiencies or needed repairs
• service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges, and related components
• maintain wet and dry systems and work with pre-action systems when applicable
• perform fire pump testing and service when required
• complete service reports
• communicate system conditions and completed work to customers
• maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
