Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist works in person in Monroeville, PA, typically Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $28–$30 per hour. The role supports the company’s Finance Department and reports to the CFO. The role exists to process payables accurately and support other finance needs. It maintains reliable vendor records and payment workflows, resolves discrepancies, and contributes to improved accounts payable processes and internal controls.

What you'll do

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• verify invoice details and payment timing
• reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
• prepare and process check and ACH payment runs
• communicate with vendors about payment status and inquiries
• maintain vendor master records and required documentation
• maintain organized electronic records
• administer the company credit card program and reconcile receipts
• perform assigned transaction reconciliations
• assist with process and internal-control improvements
• perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
