Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in South Williamsport, PA. This is a PRN/Pool/As Needed position. Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a growing national inpatient rehabilitation leader. This role focuses on providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with Registered Nurses to execute care plans. The LPN/LVN will build relationships with patients to support their rehabilitation goals and celebrate their progress.

What you'll do

• Providing direct patient care, aligning with the personalized care plan and physician orders.
• Observing patient behaviors, including monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Collaborating directly with Registered Nurses to report findings and execute patient care plans.
• Cultivating meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

What we're looking for

Education

Current LPN/LVN licensure as required by state regulations. CPR certification.

Experience

One year of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting is preferred.
