The KLZ Press Operator and Finisher role is an onsite, full-time position in Palmyra, NY, with a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Pay is $23.98–$25.39 per hour, plus a $1.75-per-hour third-shift differential. The role supports Garlock’s manufacturing team in producing molded rubber products. The operator runs molding presses, finishes and inspects parts, and records production information to help ensure quality and consistent output. The role also monitors process conditions, troubleshoots defects, and maintains equipment and a safe, orderly work area.

What you'll do

• Operate electric and hydraulic presses for molding operations
• load molds and blanks, apply mold release, cure stock, and remove finished pieces
• perform manual or machine finishing
• inspect parts using visual checks and gauges
• monitor press conditions and report or troubleshoot defects
• record production data and measurements
• clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment
• follow lockout/tagout and 5S practices.
