Substitute Teacher

The Substitute Teacher role is onsite in Atlanta, GA; compensation is not specified. The substitute provides instruction and manages the classroom when the regular teacher is absent, carrying out lesson plans and school procedures to maintain a safe, orderly learning environment.

What you'll do

• Teach lesson plans as directed or consult the principal if plans are unavailable
• maintain an orderly classroom and follow school procedures
• leave notes or complete a substitute report
• communicate with parents, students, and administrators
• record attendance, accidents, and incidents
• protect students and school property and ensure student safety.
