The Porter role is onsite in Jessup, MD, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay is $16.00 per hour. Food Authority delivers fresh produce and grocery items to customers and operates around the clock. The Porter helps maintain a clean, safe facility and supports food-handling standards across departments. The work includes cleaning facility areas and equipment, managing cleaning supplies, and following sanitation and safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Clean facility areas, kitchen, bathrooms, equipment, walls, and stairs
• empty and clean garbage bins
• manage cleaning-supply inventory and order supplies
• complete required SQF paperwork
• follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• support other departments as needed
• meet HACCP and GMP requirements.
