Export/Import Coordinator

Job overview

The Export/Import Coordinator role is onsite in Colonial Heights, VA, with compensation of $24–$30 per hour. Blueprint Automation designs and manufactures case packers and tray-packing solutions for challenging packages. The coordinator manages inbound and outbound shipments and inventory, directs import/export processes, and supports shipping and receiving employees. The work helps ensure materials, equipment, and parts move accurately and on schedule, including through international shipping and customs processes.

What you'll do

• Lead import and export processes for machines and parts
• examine inbound receipts and report variances or damage
• record receipts in the MRP system, tag and locate materials
• maintain workspace and inventory accountability
• document material transfers
• communicate shipment schedules with vendors and customers
• oversee packaging and shipping of orders, returns, and transfers
• arrange carrier transport
• resolve freight claims and shipment problems
• process international shipping and customs documentation
• support the sister facility in Colorado as needed
• provide leadership, training, mentoring, and coaching to shipping/receiving employees.
