Underground Utility Locator Technician

What you'll do

• Read utility maps, prints, and aerial imagery
• operate locating equipment and mark buried cables with approved materials
• prioritize requests, plan routes, and complete assignments on time
• communicate with supervisors, contractors, utility representatives, homeowners, and field crews
• document work in the ticket system
• perform outside plant maintenance
• follow Utah laws, APWA color-coding standards, and safety procedures
• participate in on-call duties as needed.
