In-Home Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver

The In-Home Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver role is onsite in Southfield, MI, and surrounding areas. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour for standard assignments; certain specialty and couples assignments may pay up to $22.50 per hour. CareOne Senior Care provides in-home support to seniors and adults to help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The caregiver assists clients with daily activities according to individual care plans, provides companionship, and supports household routines and mobility. The role also includes observing and reporting changes, documenting shifts, and following safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• prepare meals and encourage hydration
• provide companionship
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• assist with walking, mobility, and transfers as appropriate
• provide medication reminders according to care plans
• accompany clients to appointments and errands when needed
• observe and report changes
• complete shift documentation
• follow care plans and safety procedures.
