Overhead Crane Service Technician

Job overview

The Overhead Crane Service Technician role is onsite in Irvine, CA, with service work at customer locations throughout Southern California. Compensation is $32–$48 per hour plus a performance bonus. The full-time schedule is Monday–Friday; overtime and occasional emergency or after-hours service may be required. The role supports Level Crane Systems’ field operations team, providing overhead crane products and services to industrial customers. The technician inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains crane systems to support safe operation and reduce customer downtime. The work also includes assisting with installations and commissioning, completing service documentation, and maintaining tools and service equipment.

What you'll do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on overhead crane systems
• troubleshoot industrial electrical circuits and basic mechanical issues
• respond to service calls and breakdowns
• assist with installations, modernizations, and commissioning
• conduct safety checks
• interpret schematics and technical manuals
• complete service tickets and reports
• maintain tools, vehicles, and service equipment.
