The Assistant Manager, Venue Operations role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with shifts of four to eight hours, primarily evenings and weekends. Pay is $20 per hour. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s small venues include Liberty Magic, The Harris Theater, James E Rohr Building, and Three Stories. The role supports event operations and front-of-house service so guests can safely and comfortably enjoy performances and events. It assists the Venue Manager, supports volunteers and performers, addresses patron needs, and helps maintain venue safety and readiness.

What you'll do

• Assist the Venue Manager with show- and event-based operations at Trust small venues. Help train volunteers, oversee front-of-house operations during shows and special events, and address customer service issues. Complete event reports when acting in the Venue Manager capacity and assist with building inspections for maintenance and safety concerns. Support guest flow and information sharing, merchandise, concessions, and ticket sales
• support performers and technical teams when appropriate. Regular Friday evening availability and Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening availability are required

Why this role
