What you'll do

• Conduct screening, assessments, and triage for inmates referred by security, healthcare staff, and other sources
• recommend levels of care
• develop treatment plans and provide psychoeducational and transitional groups
• provide suicide-prevention interventions and management techniques
• respond to sick-call requests
• support medication adherence and coordinate medication evaluations with prescribing providers
• provide crisis intervention
• monitor caseload clinical needs
• participate in multidisciplinary treatment and administrative meetings
• train staff on mental health topics
• document findings and comply with facility and company policies.
