Assistant Toddler Teacher

The Assistant Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Fowlerville, MI, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Pay is $14–$16.50 per hour, based on education, credentials, and experience. Lil Sunflowers Learning Academy provides early childhood education and care in a licensed childcare setting. Working alongside the Lead Teacher, this assistant helps create a safe, nurturing classroom and supports toddlers’ development through play-based learning, supervision, daily routines, and communication with families and coworkers.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate, play-based learning
• support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• supervise children and maintain a safe, clean classroom
• assist with diapering, toileting, meals, nap time, and routines
• document daily activities through the parent communication app
• communicate with families and coworkers.
