What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care
• explain procedures
• assist with meals, transfers, and ambulation
• measure and record intake and output and ordered vital signs
• maintain a clean patient environment
• report abnormal findings or changes in condition
• document care
• protect confidentiality and privacy
• assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, diagnostic tests, and specimen collection
• answer call lights
• use patient-care equipment safely.
