Rest Area Attendant

Job overview

The Rest Area Attendant role is onsite in Cambridge, OH, at the Guernsey County rest areas on I-77 northbound and southbound. Pay is $14 per hour. The position supports Zanesville Welfare Organization and Goodwill Industries’ rest area facilities. The role fills in for scheduled worker time off and helps keep public rest areas clean, sanitary, orderly, and maintained, including indoor spaces, sidewalks, and grounds.

What you'll do

• Fill in for full- and part-time contract workers’ scheduled time off
• clean and sanitize entrances, floors, restrooms, lunchrooms, and other public and employee areas
• sweep sidewalks, pick up trash, and remove snow by hand shovel when needed
• trim and maintain landscaping
• follow restroom closing and cleaning procedures
• mop, strip, seal, wax, and buff floors as needed
• maintain offices, waiting areas, and garage areas in clean and orderly condition.
