Cross Country Coach

Job overview

The Cross Country Coach role is onsite in Palm Desert, CA, and compensation is $40–$60 per hour. Impact Kids provides enrichment programs for students at public and private schools. The coach supervises students ages 4–14 and teaches running skills through age-appropriate workouts and activities. The role supports students’ fitness, endurance, confidence, and safe participation while following the company curriculum.

What you'll do

• Provide daily running and cross-country instruction
• teach running form, warm-ups, stretching, pacing, and breathing
• lead age-appropriate workouts, games, relays, and time trials
• assess progress and provide feedback
• plan and supervise safe routes
• monitor weather, heat, and hydration
• supervise students and collaborate with Activity Specialists.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of experience working with children and running, cross-country, track, or youth coaching experience; CPR/First Aid certification and specified clearances are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
