Senior Purchasing Agent

What you'll do

• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotes
• issue and follow up on purchase orders
• interpret technical drawings and material requirements
• communicate with vendors about pricing, lead times, and order status
• align purchasing with production schedules and inventory
• support cost estimates and proposal sourcing
• review MRP reports
• maintain purchasing records
• support ITAR, AS9100, and customer quality requirements.

Why this role

Requires at least seven years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense; ERP experience; and U.S. citizenship. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if required. Normal hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; additional hours may be needed.
