Hospital Security Officer – Part-Time Coverage

What you'll do

• Observe for crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
• patrol the premises and check for unsafe conditions and unauthorized individuals
• de-escalate individuals as needed
• inspect security devices and fire-control equipment
• screen visitors and employees
• respond to emergencies
• and, as applicable, provide patient watch or escort, safety escort, or assistance transporting deceased patients to the morgue. Assisting nursing staff with patient restraints may be required, with training provided.
