What you'll do
- Assist the Director of Nursing in directing nursing functions and ensuring staff follow the Nursing Procedures Manual. Conduct daily clinical rounds
- participate in quality assurance and corrective actions
- review nursing notes and charts. Maintain appropriate RN, LPN, and CNA staffing
- assist with evaluations and assignments
- lead in-service training and mentor staff. Participate in resident assessments and care plans, coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, communicate with residents, families, and physicians, and investigate abuse allegations. Current unencumbered RN license, nursing degree, and at least one year as an ADON or Nurse Supervisor required. On-call rotation at times.
