Cheer Athletics Omaha has grown to 18 teams and more than 60 classes and is seeking coaches to support its athletes and teams. The coach co-coaches one or more teams, teaches cheer fundamentals, and helps coordinate routines and productive practices. The role supports athlete development through constructive feedback, encouragement, safety practices, and communication with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.

What you'll do

• Co-coach one or more teams depending on availability
• teach cheer fundamentals
• coordinate routines, including choreography and music
• lead productive practices and maintain a safe, positive environment
• provide constructive feedback and encouragement
• communicate with athletes, parents, and coaches
• attend competitions and team events
• complete preparation outside practice, including lesson planning, scripting, choreography, practice goals, messages, and athlete evaluations
• maintain ongoing training and CPR certifications.
