Groomer Apprentice — Pet Styling

The Groomer Apprentice works onsite in Park Ridge, IL. Compensation is $15.40–$17.27 per hour. Kriser’s Natural Pet supports pet owners with grooming, health, nutrition, training, and general pet care services. The apprentice develops grooming skills through structured training and mentorship while providing pet styling and customer service. The role helps deliver safe, attentive grooming and supports pet wellness and repeat care.

What you'll do

• Complete both levels of groomer training
• bathe, brush, dry, de-mat, trim, and groom pets
• perform nail and teeth care and other specialty services
• check pets in and out with their owners
• alert groomers to observed anomalies
• educate customers about products and services
• offer service enhancements as appropriate
• handle pets safely and kindly
• maintain a clean work environment
• rebook appointments.
