The Baltimore Math Tutor – In Person, Grades 3–5 role is onsite in Baltimore, MD, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay is $22–$26 per hour, based on education and experience. HeyTutor partners with a local school district to provide in-person tutoring to elementary school students. The tutor leads student groups using provided curriculum and materials, supports participation and positive behavior, tracks attendance and progress, assists with assessments when requested, and escorts students to designated campus areas. The role contributes to student learning through structured, high-impact tutoring and a welcoming classroom environment.

What you'll do

• Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision
• deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
• create an engaging, welcoming learning environment
• support positive behavior and participation
• track attendance and student progress in the HeyTutor Dashboard
• assist with assessments when requested
• escort students to and from designated campus areas
• clock in and out daily using Deputy
• complete additional assigned duties.
