Quality Inspector | Precision Machining | First Shift

Job overview

The Quality Inspector role is onsite in Painesville, OH, on first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $21–$24 per hour based on experience. The position supports a precision CNC machining manufacturer serving aerospace, military, industrial, and engineered markets. The inspector verifies that machined components meet dimensional, customer, and industry requirements. Inspection records and support for quality-system compliance help maintain product and process quality, with potential to develop toward a Quality Manager role over two to four years.

What you'll do

• Inspect machined components for dimensional accuracy, including measurements to thousandths of an inch
• interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
• use precision measuring equipment, gauges, and check fixtures
• perform first-article, in-process, and production-run inspections
• document results and maintain quality records
• support AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
