Behavioral Health Technician, Pivot Point and Transitional Services

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Technician role is onsite in Rapid City, SD, with full-time and part-time positions available. Starting pay is $21.40 per hour, with additional $2.00-per-hour overnight and weekend differentials. The role supports West River Mental Health’s Pivot Point and Transitional Services programs. The technician helps clients stabilize, pursue individualized goals, and build daily living skills and independence. What you'll do

• Support screening and referral processes
• gather information to connect clients with appropriate care
• assist with comfort, nutrition, and stabilization needs
• support individualized stabilization plans
• complete PBTs, UAs, and other testing as directed by protocols
• help maintain a safe therapeutic environment
• support clients in group-home or transitional settings
• assist with daily living skills and routines
• document accurately and communicate with the treatment team.
