What you'll do

• Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient medications
• verify physician orders and patient profiles for appropriate therapy, allergies, interactions, and dosing
• counsel patients and provide drug information
• review and dispense IV admixtures, including TPN and chemotherapy
• check technician-prepared medications
• supervise pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff
• monitor inventory and participate in education and interdisciplinary teams.
