Mazak Machine Operator

What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, and operate five-axis Mazak machine tools
• machine parts to specifications
• use inspection instruments including micrometers, calipers, portable CMM, or FARO equipment
• read work orders, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information
• monitor machine feed and speed
• maintain tools and diagnose malfunctions
• coordinate technical information with engineering, supervisory, or inspection personnel
• separate and dispose of scrap
• recommend process improvements through Kaizen.
