What you'll do

• Respond to emergent and non-emergent calls
• provide pre-hospital care including oxygen, CPR, stabilization, airway management, and other non-invasive therapies
• assess illness or injury and obtain medical history
• address patients’ physical and emotional needs
• communicate with dispatch by radio
• drive the ambulance and transport patients
• document care provided en route
• check equipment, replenish supplies, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Requires approved EMT training, valid Ohio EMT certification, current BLS and state certification, high school diploma or GED, continuing education, and a valid Ohio driver’s license.
