Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician

The role exists to analyze raw materials, fermenting and finished cider, and support quality systems throughout cider making and packaging. Its testing, sensory checks, and coordination with production teams help identify quality issues and support production needs.

What you'll do

• Complete daily sugar analysis on fermenting tanks
• assist on the packaging line between checks
• adjust fermentation temperatures as needed
• conduct sensory checks
• work with the QA manager on corrective action for sensory faults
• analyze sulfite levels and incoming sweet juice
• coordinate filter and cider movements with cellar and production coordinators
• maintain quality systems
• assist with quality training, GMPs, sensory work, and OJT audits
• perform yeast and mold plating
• assist with specialty projects
• train staff for lab coverage.
