What you'll do

• Teach an interdisciplinary, NGSS-aligned curriculum.
• Develop students’ practices of questioning, modeling, constructing explanations, data analysis, argumentation, and planning and conducting interactive labs.
• Use love of science to foster confidence and meaningful engagement.
• Cultivate awareness of interconnected nature of science fields.
• Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work and assessments.
• Implement strategies to differentiate instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students.
• Partner with families.
• Engage in professional development, mentorship, and coaching.
• Participate in school-wide meetings.
• Partner with grade level team.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience

1-2 years experience preferred.
