Field Service Valve Technician

Job overview

The Field Service Valve Technician role is based in Bangor, ME, with field and shop work; compensation is $20–$35 per hour, with premium pay for travel and field work and a daily per diem allowance while traveling. NYNE Mechanical, a division of NECI, focuses on diagnosing breakdowns and helping clients improve equipment uptime. The technician inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, assembles, calibrates, and tests valves, actuators, and related equipment. The role documents service work, maintains field equipment and tools, and supports shop operations while following safety, quality, code, and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, assemble, calibrate, and test valves and actuators
• diagnose failures and recommend repair scope
• document service activity
• maintain field equipment, tooling, trucks, and trailers
• support inventory, inspection, packaging, shipping, and shop operations
• follow safety and housekeeping standards.
