The Dog Care Professional role is onsite in Joppa, MD. Compensation is $15 per hour. Best Friends Fur-Ever provides dog daycare, boarding, and grooming in a safe, structured, and enriching environment focused on canine wellness. The role supports safe, attentive care by supervising playgroups, providing enrichment and individualized care, monitoring dogs’ health and behavior, maintaining clean spaces, and communicating with teammates and pet parents.

What you'll do

• Supervise dog playgroups and monitor safe interactions
• use positive reinforcement and handling techniques
• observe and report signs of stress, illness, injury, or fatigue
• provide feeding, enrichment, medication administration, and kennel support
• clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, equipment, and common spaces
• maintain care, feeding, and behavior records
• communicate with team members and pet parents
• follow safety and animal-care procedures.
