Compensation is $4 per hour. The Entry Level Mechanic - 2nd Shift is an onsite role based in Marshall, MO. 17 plus a $0.75 shift differential and $3.50/hr attendance bonus. This role supports the maintenance department at a Conagra manufacturing facility. The role exists to assist in the maintenance and repair of plant and production equipment. The mechanic contributes to the team by performing inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs to ensure continuous production operations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipment.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation.
• Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipment.
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
