Territory Sales Representative – Flooring Specification

Job overview

The Territory Sales Representative – Flooring Specification is a hybrid role based in Sacramento or San Francisco, California, with regular travel throughout Northern California. Compensation is $100,000–$130,000 per year. The role develops specification sales and relationships with architecture and design professionals in the assigned territory. The position exists to build a new market for flooring specifications, develop project opportunities, and support conversion in coordination with the region’s dealer sales representative. It combines consultative selling and technical product guidance to grow the territory’s specification-driven business.

What you'll do

• Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, A&D firms, and specification decision-makers
• drive product specifications for residential and commercial projects
• identify project opportunities and build a pipeline
• conduct presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions
• provide product, installation, sample, and sustainability information
• track projects and engagement in Salesforce
• coordinate with the dealer sales representative
• monitor design trends and competitors
• participate in industry events and trade shows.
